This plant would be perfect for an accent flowering shrub, woody vine, and as well as a buffer plant.
The Limber Caper's bloom season is from May-November, and much like its relative the Jamaica Caper, in that its beautiful white flowers are very fragrant and resemble a bursting firework.
Appearance
Its seed pods are 3-6" long and reveal a red interior with white seeds once the pod splits open.
The name flexuosa refers to its zigzagging stems, in which they grow opposite of one another.
Wildlife Attractant
Its sweet smell attracts lots of wildlife from bees drinking its nectar, to Blue Jays and Mockingbirds eating its seeds and pulp.
